ITHACA, N.Y. —Ithaca Police are investigating and traffic is being diverted after multiple reports of shots fired in Collegetown Friday evening.
Tompkins County Dispatch received the reports at approximately 5:12 p.m., according to a release from IPD. No victims have been located at this time. IPD remains on the scene gathering evidence, with Cornell University Police assisting with traffic control.
East State Street/Martin Luther King, Jr. Street is currently closed between Mitchell Street and Brandon Place in the City of Ithaca. Traffic is also being detoured at Pine Tree Road and State Rt. 79 in the Town of Ithaca.
