ITHACA, N.Y.—Police are investigating a menacing incident last week at a business on Third Street in Ithaca.

Ithaca Police Department Lt. Thomas Condzella wrote in a press release that police responded to the business on Monday, Nov. 20, after a dispute between two people in which a firearm was allegedly displayed.

“An investigation into the incident commenced and it was learned that during the dispute, the below-pictured suspect threatened to kill an employee of the business while displaying what appeared to be a black handgun,” Condzella said.

Police did not disclose the incident until Nov. 26. Condzella said the suspect left the scene in a dark blue 3 Series BMW with a sunroof, but other details were not clear.

Police published photos of the suspect, shown below, asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
